The connection is established through a custom Interface Asset using the REST Web services supported by Airtable. To illustrate how you can work with data sources other than an Excel workbook, we used an Airtable database to create a simulated employee directory for this sample. The X & Y fields of a task are updated each time a task is manipulated in the pinboard.Īirtable database used for the employee directory The Status fields are saved each time a status is selected in the Status Menu group, using the Update cell action of the Excel Interface Asset. This menu is displayed on demand when clicking the Select Status button in the task template. The second worksheet, Status List, lists all of the available statuses to be displayed in the the Status Menu group, enabling the user to select a status for a specific task. By putting this wide Group collection in the Scroll collection, the group becomes scrollable when the experience is running. The "Main Scroll" Scroll collection in the middle layer is the same size as the experience itself - 1920 x 1080 - and it contains a Group collection - the Whole Board collection - which has a size of 3000 x 1200 pixels. In the front layer are all of the pop-up Group collections associated with different buttons in the toolbar. ![]() A toolbar, housed within a Group collection, always remains on the bottom edge of the scene. The main board uses a Scroll collection to contain all dynamic objects. This sample is comprised of a single scene. Our internal version contains more dynamic information like the number of pending support threads, the days planned for each task, etc. This sample is an only-slightly simplified version of an experience the Intuiface staff uses every morning in stand-up meetings focused on the progress of the current Intuiface release under development.
